Ring in the New Year! Welcome 2010! At Best of the Valley, we have been working diligently behind the scenes, readying things for our 15th Annual Show. Mark your calendars for April 9, 10, 11, 2010. The show will be held a week earlier than usual, but will once again be held at the McDermont Fieldhouse in Lindsay.
If you are on our mailing list, you should have received your entry form. If not, go to our “Entry Rules & Forms” page, to download and print your own. All US artists are eligible to enter your quilt, doll or wearable art. Please note that the postmark deadline is February 25, 2010.
For 2010 we will also be inviting local guilds and friendship groups to Share Your Challenge with us. The top two submissions will be selected for exhibit. For more information, download the forms here.

Our featured artist will be Anna Koelewyn, a gifted quilter from Hanford who makes both traditional bed quilts and eye-popping art quilts. Once again we will display winners from the 2009 Hoffman Challenge quilt collection. There will be quilt appraisals, a big/little quilt sale, and on-site food, as well as the judged and juried competition that is the focal point of our show.
We’re also working with both Best Western and Super 8 Motel to provide a price break for out-of-town show attendees.
As you can see, this year’s show promises to be one that you won’t want to miss. It truly is our intent to bring you THE BEST, in the Valley!!
